What happens when the landscape wraps around the body?

Woven Landscape explores the transformation of Icelandic landscapes into textile. In this project, the landscape moves across mediums: from earth to photograph, from photograph to textile, and ultimately to the human body. The patterns are transformed into tactile material that can wrap around the body, creating a new and intimate connection to the land. A landscape that usually disappears beneath our feet becomes a material that wraps around the body.
